Terms of Service
Last Updated: January 31, 2026
Hey, welcome to Jeep N Greet. These are the ground rules for using the forum. Nothing crazy — just common sense stuff to keep this place running smooth for everyone.
By using the site, you’re agreeing to these terms and our Privacy Policy. If that doesn’t work for you, no hard feelings.
1. Who Can Join
You need to be at least 18 years old to use this forum. By signing up, you’re saying you meet that requirement.
2. Your Account
- Keep your login secure — you’re on the hook for anything that happens under your account
- Use real info when you register (you don’t have to use your real name as your username, but your email needs to be legit)
- One account per person. Don’t make alts.
3. Don’t Be a Jerk
Pretty simple. Don’t:
- Post anything illegal, threatening, or harassing
- Pretend to be someone you’re not
- Spam the forum or drop ads without permission
- Share someone else’s personal info without their okay
- Try to hack, break, or mess with the site
- Upload anything malicious
- Generally make the place worse for everyone else
4. What Belongs Here
Go for it
- Jeep talk, 4x4 stuff, off-roading, trail stories
- Photos and videos of your rig and adventures
- Wrenching advice and tech help
- Event announcements and meetup planning
- Buying, selling, and trading parts (in the Marketplace)
Keep it out
- Anything illegal
- Content promoting violence or harm
- Sexually explicit material
- Personal attacks or harassment
- Spam or non-stop self-promotion
- Stuff that violates someone else’s copyright
5. Your Content
You own what you post. By posting it here, you’re giving us permission to display it on the forum — that’s it. We’re not going to sell your photos or anything weird like that. Just don’t post stuff that belongs to someone else.
6. Marketplace
The Marketplace is for members to buy, sell, and trade with each other.
- Deals are between you and the other person — we’re not involved
- Be honest about what you’re selling
- Follow through on your commitments
- If something seems sketchy, let a mod know
7. Moderation
The mod team keeps things running. They can:
- Edit, move, or remove posts
- Issue warnings, temp bans, or permanent bans
- Make final calls on disputes
If you think a mod got it wrong, reach out to an admin. We’re reasonable people.
8. Members Only Areas
Some parts of the forum are only open to registered members or higher trust levels. That access is a privilege, not a right, and can be pulled if needed.
9. Donations
If you toss us a few bucks through Ko-fi, thanks — that helps keep the lights on. Donations are voluntary, non-refundable, and don’t buy you special treatment. Everyone’s equal here.
10. Events & Gatherings
If you show up to an event posted on this forum — trail ride, campout, meetup, whatever:
- You assume all risk. Off-roading, camping, and outdoor activities are inherently dangerous. By attending, you accept those risks.
- We’re not liable for anything that happens to you, your vehicle, your property, or anyone in your group.
- You’re responsible for your own conduct and for following all applicable laws, land use regulations, and campground rules.
11. The Boring But Important Legal Stuff
No warranties. The forum is provided as-is. We do our best, but we can’t guarantee it’ll be up 24/7, or that every piece of advice on here is correct.
Off-roading is dangerous. Seriously. Anything you read on this forum about trails, modifications, or techniques is for informational purposes. What you do with your rig is on you. Be safe out there.
We’re not liable for damages from using (or not being able to use) the forum, for deals gone wrong in the Marketplace, for someone’s bad advice, or for anything that happens at events or gatherings coordinated through this forum. Use your own judgment.
You agree to hold us harmless — that means if something goes sideways because of how you used the forum, attended an event, or broke these rules, that’s on you, not us, the mod team, or anyone else who showed up.
12. Changes
We might update these terms down the road. If we do, continued use of the forum means you’re cool with the changes.
13. Account Removal
We can suspend or remove accounts at any time if needed. We’d rather not, but we will if someone’s making the community worse.
14. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, United States.
15. Questions?
Hit up a forum admin. We’re happy to chat.
